Website design is the service of planning, designing, coding and publishing a website built to be found on Google and in AI answers. At Busca Orgânica, we deliver websites with a sound technical structure, structured data and a focus on performance and Core Web Vitals, ready for the SEO that comes next.
At Busca Orgânica, website design starts from a simple idea: a beautiful website nobody can find on Google does not solve the problem of a business that needs to sell or generate contacts. That is why every project starts out with the URL architecture, the heading hierarchy and the structured data that search engines and AI models read to understand and cite the pages.
What is website design optimized for SEO and GEO?
Optimized website design is a project in which the page map, code and copy are decided together for search engines (SEO, search engine optimization) and for AI answers (GEO, generative engine optimization). At Busca Orgânica, this becomes deliverables the company can check on launch day:
- the page map, with the search each page answers;
- a title and description for each page, written for that search;
- structured data for each page type, using the Schema.org vocabulary;
- sitemap submitted and indexing monitored in Google Search Console;
- contact click tracking, as in the two case studies on this page;
- a redirect map, when there is an old website.
The starting point decides the rest. At S Moldes Ferramentaria, which had never had a website, the first decision was how many pages the portfolio called for; at Cabrera Advogados, which already had a live website, it was whether to rework the old base or publish a new one. The technical side follows the Google Search Central SEO starter guide, which describes how the search engine crawls, indexes and interprets a page.
How does website design work at Busca Orgânica?
Our process starts with planning, not layout. First we define which pages the website needs, based on the audience's real searches and the services the company offers. Then comes the architecture: how the pages link to one another, which are the main pages and which support the journey. Only then do visual design and coding come in, always with attention to loading time and mobile reading.
- Content and keyword planning, with one page per search intent.
- URL architecture and internal linking, so Google understands the website's hierarchy.
- Visual design and development of the page templates, checked against the Core Web Vitals targets described below.
- Structured data markup and indexing setup.
- Publishing and measurement, monitored in Google Search Console.
Busca Orgânica is a technology company with its own methodology, headquartered in Guarulhos (SP), with more than 700 clients served since 2021 (Grupo Orion institutional material, Sep/2026). Because SEO, GEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) sit on the same team, website design does not end when the layout is delivered: the website is built to grow within an ongoing SEO and GEO strategy.
What is the difference between an optimized website and a standard corporate website?
Many websites published today are little more than a digital business card. The difference between that model and an optimized website shows up in the structure, not just the visuals.
| Aspect | Standard corporate website | Optimized website (SEO + GEO) |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Showcase the company | Be found and generate contacts |
| Page structure | Home, about, contact | A page per service, sector and market |
| Copy | Generic corporate text | Direct answer to the user's search |
| Structured data | Absent | schema.org markup by type |
| Performance | Not measured | Core Web Vitals monitored |
This page covers the website of any company that needs to be found by service, sector and city. When the website revolves around a catalog, product data sheets and technical quote requests, the right fit is website design for industry. What comes after delivery, with new content, authority and month-by-month position tracking, is SEO for businesses, which works on top of the published website. Further down, the examples section shows how our own search engine optimization methodology turns into pages on a real website.
Which Core Web Vitals targets does the new website need to meet?
In website design, the performance target is the “good” level Google documents on web.dev, Google's performance and best practices portal, for the three Core Web Vitals metrics, measured at the 75th percentile of visits:
- LCP (Largest Contentful Paint, the time until the largest element appears) within 2.5 seconds;
- INP (Interaction to Next Paint, the response to taps and clicks) within 200 milliseconds;
- CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift, how much the layout moves during loading) of 0.1 or less.
We check these targets on the page templates before publishing, in lab testing, because the template is where image sizes, fonts and scripts inherited by every page of the same type are decided. After launch, the Search Console Core Web Vitals report starts showing field data from real visitors, which only appears once the page has accumulated enough visits; until then, the lab test is the reference.
A structure ready for search and AI
A website prepared for GEO and AEO offers passages that AI can extract and cite. This is done with a direct answer at the top of each page, an FAQ that stands on its own and sections that open with the answer. On the websites we deliver, this format comes ready, with FAQ and service markup following the Schema.org standard. Optimizing for AI improves the chance of citation but does not guarantee the result, because that depends on each model and on the competition for the topic.
In organic search, Busca Orgânica works with a performance guarantee set out in the contract, with targets agreed at the start of the project. In a project that starts with the website, this guarantee applies to the SEO done on the published website, not to the delivery of the layout, and what goes into the targets is described in SEO with a contractual performance guarantee.
Where does website design make the most difference?
The service is for companies that depend on being found online to sell, capture leads or strengthen the brand. It works for those starting from scratch and also for those with an old website that does not appear on Google or get cited by AI. For manufacturers and B2B suppliers, there is a specific approach on our website design for industry page. Those who also need a presence on the map and in the business profile can add Google Business Profile work.
Content that generates contacts, not just visits
Being found is the beginning; the website needs to turn the visit into a contact. That is why the project pays close attention to conversion paths: objective forms, clear calls to talk to the company and pages that take visitors from question to proposal request. On the two new websites in the examples below, we implemented click tracking on contact channels, which counts each click from someone who decides to talk to the company and attributes it to the source channel. It measures clicks, not signed contracts or revenue, but it separates the pages that lead to contact from those that only receive visits.
When the company also does B2B prospecting, the website becomes the destination of the outreach: the buyer who is contacted finds the page for their own segment, not a generic company presentation.
When website design is not the right choice
If the company already has a fast, well-structured website with good indexing, the better investment may be content and SEO on what already exists, not a new website. Website design makes sense when the current base holds back growth: heavy code, a confusing structure, or the inability to mark up structured data or create pages by topic. We say so in the diagnosis, before proposing a rebuild, because replacing a website that already works can needlessly cost hard-won positions.
How much does a website with Busca Orgânica cost?
The price of a website with Busca Orgânica comes from the scope, and the amount is presented in the proposal, after the diagnosis. A service company's website with a few pages and a portal with an extensive catalog and several service markets are projects of different sizes. Five factors make up this scope:
| What goes into the scope | Why it affects the price |
|---|---|
| Service, sector and market pages. | Each page has its own copy, hand-written title and description, and the structured data for its type. |
| Product catalog. | A data sheet per item, filters by feature and downloadable documents multiply the number of pages. |
| Migration from an old website. | It requires a map of current URLs, redirects and indexing monitoring in Search Console after launch. |
| Page copy. | It varies depending on whether the copy is written by our team or supplied by the company. |
| Professional board rules. | Law and health care require copy within the advertising standards of the profession, such as the OAB rules. |
To put the proposal together, we ask for the list of services or product lines, the cities where the company actually delivers and the current website's address, if there is one. With that, we size how many pages the project will have and whether a migration needs planning.
Concrete examples: a website's structure and two projects with a new website
Busca Orgânica's own website follows the architecture that our search engine optimization methodology delivers to clients, with four page types that link to one another:
- Service, at /services/service-name: one page per service, such as this one and SEO for businesses.
- Sector, at /solutions/sector-name: the page speaks to the audience of a sector, such as SEO and GEO for industry and SEO and GEO for service providers.
- State, at /service-areas/state-name: the market, with the state's economy and client base, such as service in São Paulo and service in Paraná, gathered in the index of service areas by state.
- Service by city: the combination that only exists with the city's own data, such as website design in São Paulo, website design in Curitiba and website design in Santo André.
The service page links to the sector and city pages, and each of them links back to the service. This design is what lets Google understand what the company does, for whom and where, without identical pages that just swap the city name. In client projects, the page types change names (product line instead of sector, for example), but the logic holds. Two SEO projects with a new website show what this structure delivered, with measured results.
S Moldes Ferramentaria: a website from scratch in Guarulhos
S Moldes Ferramentaria, a family business in Guarulhos (SP), makes molds for plastic, aluminum and zamak injection and came to Busca Orgânica in April 2022 without a website: for 20 years, its client base had come only from referrals. The website went live in May 2022, as part of an SEO project with website design. The decision that defines this project was not to build a single corporate page: injection molds, mold maintenance and CNC machining became separate pages, each with the materials and sectors served (automotive, construction, finishes), so that each process has its own destination in search. They all end in a quote request, and every click on that request is counted. From May/2022 to Sep/2026, the average is 115 contact clicks per month (click tracking), and the website has accumulated 32,000 visits (Google Analytics, all channels). A contact click is not a signed contract. Details in the S Moldes Ferramentaria case study, from no online presence to 115 contact clicks per month.
Cabrera Advogados: a new website within OAB rules
Cabrera Advogados, a law firm in Guarulhos (SP) serving the São Paulo Metropolitan Region, had a live website, but contacts came only from ads, which were expensive and poorly qualified, and without a CRM nobody knew the source of each one. When hired in January 2026, the choice was to publish a new base, which went live in February 2026, instead of reworking the old one. The map gained a page per legal area and per service region, with copy within the rules for law firm advertising (OAB Provision 205/2021), and click tracking took on the role of the record the firm did not have. In Google Analytics, the new website accumulated 6,900 organic users from Feb to Oct 20, 2026, 62.7% of all active users in the period, starting from zero in 2025. In 2026, click tracking, implemented because the firm had no CRM, averages 400 contact clicks per month; before the new website nothing was measured, so there is no baseline for comparison. Structure, copy and measurement are described in the Cabrera Advogados case study, from 0 to 6,900 organic users with a new website.
