Busca Orgânica's SEO in the United States is built for companies that sell in Portuguese in the country, such as Brazilian-owned businesses in Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey. The project is run remotely from Guarulhos (SP), with video call meetings and a focus on searches made in Portuguese.
The SEO in the United States that Busca Orgânica delivers has a clear scope: the company that sells in Portuguese to people living in the country. That means the business opened by Brazilians in Florida, Massachusetts or New Jersey, and also the company that, from Brazil or from there, serves the Brazilian community. Busca Orgânica's own audience searches in Portuguese, and this service covers searches made in that language; audiences who search in English are outside the scope of this page.
How much do people search in Portuguese in the United States?
Quite a lot, and the most searched term has nothing to do with marketing. In October 2026, we used DataForSEO, a search data tool, to measure the monthly volume of four Portuguese-language queries made from the United States.
| Query in Portuguese | Searches per month in the United States |
|---|---|
| brasileiros | 165,000 |
| marketing digital | 6,600 |
| agência de seo | 880 |
| google meu negócio | 720 |

The word brasileiros ("Brazilians"), with 165,000 monthly searches, shows a community that uses Google in its own language to manage life in the country, including finding someone to provide a service. The technical names for our work, on the other hand, stay below a thousand searches a month each, while the broad term marketing digital reaches 6,600: Brazilian business owners rarely search for the service by name. That is why the SEO in the United States diagnosis starts from the queries that combine the client's service with an American city or with the word brasileiro, checked in Search Console when the site already has history.
In which American regions is the audience that searches in Portuguese?
The Brazilian community that searches in Portuguese is concentrated in a few states, and the brief for this service starts from three: Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey. For the project, each state is a separate search market, with its own cities, competitors and vocabulary, and none of them replaces another in the page plan.
The distance between these hubs changes how the site is designed. A Florida company does not show up for someone searching in Massachusetts just because it wrote that it serves the whole country: Google uses the searcher's location to decide what to show, as described on the page How Google Search works. A company that serves more than one state gets one page per city with measured demand; a company that serves a single region focuses the work there.
How does the Google Business Profile work for businesses in the United States?
The Google Business Profile, which the market still calls Google Meu Negócio, only puts a company on the map of an American city when it has a real address there or travels to the customer. Google's guidelines for the Business Profile require an address staffed during the stated hours; businesses that provide services at the customer's home, such as cleaning, remodeling or moving, declare a service area and hide the address. A common mistake, which those guidelines prohibit, is registering the listing at a PO box or a virtual office with no staff, which exposes the profile to suspension.
To rank the map of an American city, Google weighs how well the listing matches the query, how close it is to the searcher and how well known the business is, as explained in Google's tips on local ranking. At Busca Orgânica, the listing always belongs to the client's company, with its own American address: we do not create profiles at borrowed addresses, and the Guarulhos headquarters never appears as a business address in the United States.
What changes in SEO in the United States with the team in Guarulhos?
The method is the same as in Brazilian projects; what changes is the clock, the meeting format and the limits of the scope.
| Item | How it works for companies in the United States |
|---|---|
| Time zone | Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey follow, across almost all of their territory, US Eastern Time. From March to November, during daylight saving time there, Brasília is 1 hour ahead; for the rest of the year, 2 hours. |
| Team hours | Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Brasília time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Eastern daylight time and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. the rest of the year. |
| Meetings | By video call, scheduled in advance. There is no in-person service in the United States. |
| Approvals | Analysis, page map, copy and layout approved by the client online, step by step. |
| Contract | Signed with Busca Orgânica, a Brazilian company, with scope, goals and payment terms defined in the proposal. |
| Taxes, registration and American regulations | Out of scope: we do not provide legal or tax advice; those matters stay with the client's accountant or attorney in the United States. |
In the first month of an SEO in the United States project, the first thing we look at is where the client's buyers live, city by city, cross-referenced with the Portuguese-language queries that already bring visits to the site. This map decides whether there will be a page for each state and city with measured demand, or a single page for the region the company actually serves.
This survey also sets the order of the services. When the company has a physical location in the country, the Google Business Profile comes in during the first month, alongside the main pages; when it sells from Brazil, the work starts with the site and the Portuguese-language content, and the map listing is out of scope. In both cases, the reports show the Portuguese-language queries that brought visits to the site and the pages that received them.
Which services are available to Brazilian companies in the United States?
The services are the same ones offered in Brazil, chosen according to the business:
- SEO: pages in Portuguese for each service and each American city served.
- GEO: your brand cited when someone asks an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, in Portuguese for a service in their city.
- AEO: direct answers to the questions Brazilian customers have before hiring in the United States.
- Website design: a fast site in Portuguese, with a page for each service, for businesses that still rely only on social media.
- Digital press relations: mentions on portals and outlets that publish in Portuguese.
- Google Business Profile: the listing on the American city's map, linked to the site.
SEO, GEO and AEO are sold together, as parts of our proprietary search engine optimization methodology: the same page that Google ranks in Florida is written to be cited by an AI and to answer directly the question of someone who has just arrived in the country.
Does Busca Orgânica already have a project in the United States?
It has one: Busca Orgânica's client base records one project in the United States, for a Florida company (internal dashboard, Oct/2026), whose industry and date are confidential. One project is not enough to call it local proof, so this page relies on method and search data, not on a case study. Busca Orgânica is a technology company of Grupo Orion, headquartered at Av. Salgado Filho, 252, Salas 207 a 210, in Guarulhos (SP). In organic search, Busca Orgânica works with a performance guarantee set out in the contract, with goals agreed at the start of the project.
The index of service areas by state brings together the 27 Brazilian markets. For businesses selling to the Brazilian community in Europe, the SEO in Irlanda page covers a smaller search market, with a different time zone and currency.
If your company serves Brazilians in the United States, talk to Busca Orgânica and start with the map of American cities where Portuguese-language searches for your service already come from.
